The Location
REinsTate is a grassroots community initiative renovating the historic Tate Institute, first built in 1887 for the industrial workers of The Royal Docks and their families. The space includes an event space, studios, social services, an enterprise hub, gardening projects and a housing initiative in the on-site caretakers cottage.The venue can be easily accessed via public transport (DLR), located 4-min walk from London City Airport station.
